About

Currently working at European Spallation Source as a Scientific Software Developer, making sure the neutrons go from 🚀🚀🚀 to 📊📈📋. I also help develop and maintain the Scipp project at ESS.

Before this I was working on the NetworkX open source project as a Co-PI on a grant from the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative (now back to my OSS volunteer hat). I was also collaborating with folks from the Scientific Python project (Berkeley Institute of Data Science), NVIDIA (CuGraph), Anaconda and GESIS, Germany.

Before that I used to work on GESIS notebooks at Leibniz Institute for the Social Sciences, Germany as a Research Software Engineer.

I am also interested in the developement and maintainence of the open source data & science software ecosystem. I try to help around with the Scientific Open Source ecosystem wherever possible :)

I like playing around with data too and after graduating from BITS Goa with a degree in Mathematics and Electronics Engineering I dabbled in academic network science research at UCLouvain, Oxford, Sorbonne, UNamur. I still do work on some side projects in the broad area of computational social sciences, urban computing, network science. Feel free to contact me if you have any ideas!
